Creative Journaling; Moving Your Pen and Finding Your Voice
WHEN: Session I Thursdays November 2, 10 & 17, 2011
Session II Wednesdays January 11, 18 & 25, 2012
7:00- 9:30 PM
Designed for the avid journaler, the occasional dabbler, and those who have yet to begin but have always wanted to, these workshops offer practical advice, tools and inspiration for filling the page. Creative prompts, tried and true techniques, and sharing in a safe and supportive environment, help participants move beyond "Dear Diary," and see how a journal can serve as a tool for self-directed change, a boost to creativity, or simply a witness to thoughts, dreams, and aspirations.
Topics to be explored include "Introduction to Journaling" (November 3), "Connecting to Your Creative Self" (November 10), and "Exploring Self through Journaling" (November 17). The series continues in the new year with "Writing for the New Year" (January 11), "Writing from Shadow" (January 18), and "Telling My Story" (January 25).
